WINTER’S BONE (2010)
I mean this in a good way, but Katniss wasn’t too far from Ree. Big sisters putting their lives on the line to protect their younger siblings. They’ve both killed and eaten their own squirrels. Ree got her ass (and her teeth) handed to her a little bit more than Katniss did, though. Ugh, I just love Jennifer Lawrence.
